Methodology for Inner Transformation by Mira Uniat

The Absence of Method

Nothing needs to be added. Only the space to remember what is already within.

My methodology is based on a simple realization: there is no fixed method.

Since beginning my inward journey and embracing the path of a yogi, my understanding of personal transformation has gradually evolved.

Over time, I came to see that insight does not come from following a specific technique or structured process. What truly supports it is the presence of a conducive environment.

An environment where a person can observe their thoughts, emotions, experiences, and life situations with openness and without judgment.

In such an environment, people often reconnect with something that is already within them.

What usually needs to happen instead is that we begin to see what blocks access to our own clarity—patterns of thinking, emotional reactions, and subtle ways we resist what is already happening in life.

When these patterns become visible, understanding begins to arise naturally.

In this space, exploration often unfolds through four natural aspects:

Observe → Understand → Integrate → Grow

We begin by observing our thoughts, emotions, and experiences more clearly.

Through observation we begin to understand the patterns shaping our lives.

With understanding we can integrate this awareness into the way we relate to everyday situations.

And from this integration, growth emerges naturally.

These are not steps to follow but natural aspects of awareness unfolding when the right environment is present.

My role in this process is simple.

I offer presence without judgment and without resistance.

This presence creates a space where people can observe their own patterns and reconnect with their own answers.

If someone asks for my perspective, I share it openly while making clear that it is simply my subjective experience. It is not a method and not something anyone needs to follow.

Each person remains free to take what resonates and leave what does not.

Joining My Flow

Rather than offering structured programs or predetermined paths, what I offer is an opportunity to join my flow.

You can think of it like tuning into a radio station or TV channel.

Every channel broadcasts a certain type of content. When you tune into it, you naturally begin to receive what that channel transmits.

My flow is like a channel oriented toward self-discovery, exploration, growth, and evolution.

It is directed toward experiencing Yoga Beyond the Mat in all aspects of life.

Yoga Beyond the Mat is not a practice.

It is a way of relating to life with less resistance and more flow.

People who feel drawn to these questions may choose to tune in and join the flow.

A Life-Based Perspective

My perspective is shaped not only by inner exploration but also by the experiences that formed my life.

My journey has included:

  • from an early age, feeling responsible for creating my own life and learning not to rely on others

  • growing up in a village with limited resources

  • losing my mother at the age of six and transforming that pain into strength, wisdom, and creativity

  • writing poetry from childhood and later publishing books while searching for answers to deeper existential questions

  • earning a bachelor’s degree in education in Ukraine

  • moving to Canada alone with one suitcase and $800, not knowing anyone

  • completing a master’s degree in folklore studies and researching political folklore

  • immigrating and adapting to life between cultures

  • building a successful career in IT sales and achieving the life I once dreamed about as a child

  • falling deeply in love in my thirties and allowing love to transform my sense of self

  • spending six years in conscious inner work exploring the deeper patterns shaping my life

  • making significant life changes based on those realizations

  • leaving a stable corporate career and income to step into the unknown and fully dedicate myself to the work of Best Education Choice

All of these experiences form the perspective I bring into the space.

Because of this, the exploration we share can include both inner awareness and practical aspects of life.

Every exploration is different because every person’s inquiry is unique.

Inquiries from Children and Teenagers

Young people often bring questions about school, emotions, friendships, and understanding themselves.

Examples may include:

  • why do I sometimes feel overwhelmed or anxious?

  • how can I understand my emotions better?

  • how do I deal with conflicts with friends or classmates?

  • how can I stay motivated in school?

  • how do I discover what I am good at or interested in?

  • how do I navigate changes like moving to a new school or country?

Sometimes children simply benefit from having a space where they can reflect, ask questions freely, and explore their thoughts without pressure.

Parents are welcome to book time for their children if they feel such a space would be supportive.

What Exploration May Include

When someone joins my flow, the experience can take many forms.

It may include:

  • conversation and dialogue

  • quiet observation and reflection

  • silence and simply being present

  • gentle physical movement or yoga

  • time in nature

  • exploring questions about life, work, relationships, or direction

Sometimes I may also share things that have worked for me personally.

For example:

  • meditation and conscious observation

  • physical yoga for body–mind integration

  • exploring our relationship with physical sensations

One practice I explore personally is standing on nails for extended periods of time. This allows me to observe how the mind reacts to sensations it interprets as pain and how resistance creates tension and fear.

By remaining present with sensations rather than fighting them, the mind gradually becomes more flexible.

Again, these are simply examples from my own experience, not methods anyone must follow.

Ways to Join the Flow

People who resonate with this approach can join the flow in two ways.

One-on-One Exploration

One-on-one exploration can take place virtually or in person.

In this format, a person can book two hours of shared time within the flow.

These two hours can be experienced in different ways:

Two Hours Together

Two continuous hours of exploration in conversation, reflection, or observation.

Day of Exploration

Four shorter connections throughout the day (approximately 30 minutes each), with suggestions for reflections or practices in between.

Month of Exploration — Village Experience

A one-month stay in my home village in Ukraine, including modest accommodation and access to locally grown fruits and vegetables from my father’s garden.

During this time we connect weekly for shorter conversations to reflect on the exploration process while most of the time is spent immersed in nature and personal reflection.

Group Exploration

People can also join the flow through Emotional Intelligence Camp, offered in a virtual group format.

This format brings together a group of like-minded individuals who share a common intention toward growth, evolution, and self-discovery.

Exploring these questions together creates an environment where participants can observe themselves, reflect with others, and learn from shared experiences.

A Mirror, Not a Method

Ultimately, my role is very simple.

I am not a teacher.

I am not a guide.

I am not a guru.

I am simply a yogi.

You can think of me as a mirror.

A mirror does not tell you who to be.

It simply reflects what is already there.

Sometimes that reflection allows you to see something you were not able to see before.

And often, that is all that is needed.

Primary Tools

Meditation

Mira’s guidance will show you that meditation is easier than many people believe. Her approach redefines it, making it simple to integrate into your daily routine. Here are the main types of meditations she offers:

"Body Scan" Meditation designed for those seeking a deeper connection with their body. This meditation helps establish a loving relationship with every cell, enabling you to hear and communicate with them. Historically, humans had to be constantly alert to survive, leading to a "fight-or-flight" response. While we no longer face such dangers, this stress response remains hard-wired in our brains, causing us to live in a constant state of emergency. Our bodies are not meant to handle this ongoing stress, which can lead to diseases. This meditation helps address this imbalance, promoting relaxation and healing.

Shaking Meditation is a liberating practice, designed to release deep-seated tension, stress, and stagnant energy from the body. Through rhythmic shaking and movement, you will awaken your body's natural vitality, promoting emotional release and mental clarity.

“Mantra Meditation”: based on your unique energy and nature of inquiry, Mira will create a personalized healing mantra charged with powerful, restorative energy. Research indicates that chanting specific mantras can synchronize the left and right sides of the brain, promoting relaxing alpha brain waves. This synchronization can enhance brain function over time and may even slow cognitive decline.

"Let It Go" Meditation, designed to help you process your past and rewire your brain to perceive it from a place of full acceptance and gratitude. While we cannot change past events, we can change the story we tell about them in our minds. During this guided meditation, Mira will assist you in this profound journey, enabling you to release old narratives and embrace a new perspective. Let go of past burdens and step into a space of inner peace and clarity.

“Manifestation Meditation”, designed to immerse you in the feeling of your deepest desires fulfilled. This practice teaches your body to experience the vibration of your future self. Fully embody the emotions and sensations of achieving your goals, cultivating a clear image of your desired future through empowered visualization, integrating mind, body, and spirit for comprehensive manifestation.

"Eyes Gazing Meditation". Experience the transformative power of Eyes Gazing Meditation with Mira Uniat, a practice that allows you to see yourself in the clearest and most profound way. During this powerful session, you will gaze into Mira's eyes, where her energy serves as a mirror, reflecting back the true nature of your being and the reality of your existence. As a deeply connected Yogi, Mira's presence helps to reveal the depths of your soul, offering insights and clarity that transcend ordinary self-reflection. This practice is designed to help you connect with your authentic self and uncover the layers of your consciousness, leading to a profound understanding of who you truly are.

“Zero Dimension Meditation” is Mira’s awareness practice for advanced meditators. It transcends the body, mind, and all human mental constructs. It goes beyond the duality of physical existence and the algorithms of energy movement between negative and positive polarities. Science has proven that everything in the universe is energy vibration. But what if it is “not a thing”? Vibration is movement. What was before movement? It was nothingness, and nothingness is complete stillness. This is the dimension of the witness, a neutral observer without judgment. It is the experiencer within you who watches the movie called “Life,” embracing all parts of it without discrimination. This meditation is designed to help receptive beings achieve a transcendental state and connect with that part of you which is pure awareness beyond space and time. Once you touch this eternal dimension and learn to arrive there in solitude, silence, and stillness, the next step is to stay connected to it while going through your daily activities—whether walking, eating, brushing your teeth, taking a shower, or interacting with people in your life.

Grounding in Nature

"Grounding in Nature" is a transformative practice designed to reconnect you with the natural world, fostering a deep sense of peace and balance. Guided by Yogi and Meditator Mira Uniat, this practice emphasizes the importance of harmonizing the five elements: water, earth, air, fire, and space. By aligning with these elements, you can restore balance and cultivate inner harmony. This practice involves immersing yourself in natural environments such as forests, parks, or gardens to ground your energy and align with the Earth's rhythms. Walking barefoot on grass, sitting under trees, or simply breathing in the fresh air can help release stress, enhance well-being, and promote a profound sense of inner calm. Additionally, connecting with water—whether through swimming in a lake, river, or ocean, or simply wading in a natural stream—can further deepen your connection with nature. As human beings, we are inherently connected to nature, and the further we distance ourselves from it, the more we tend to suffer. Grounding in Nature helps you reconnect with your true self, promoting emotional stability, mental clarity, and overall wellness. By embracing the natural world, we can restore our balance, heal from within, and live in harmony with our surroundings.

Introspective Sessions

During Introspective Sessions with Mira, the seeker, in a state of stillness and focused attention, learns new insights about the nature of the human mind, body, and individualized consciousness (soul). The goal is to help you understand what has brought you to your current state and to empower you to take responsibility for creating your reality, rather than being a victim of circumstances. This process is the initial step for breaking free from environmental conditioning that distances you from your unique, authentic self.

Journaling

Daily journaling in silence and solitude, followed by sending notes to Mira, will help reveal your existing patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting. By shedding light on these patterns, you will clearly see which ones bring you a positive state of being and which ones lead to a negative state. Mira's feedback will offer a fresh perspective and greater awareness, aimed at helping you change the narrative in your mind and provide a different response to the same stimuli. When you break redundant patterns, you will be able to convert low-frequency energy into high-frequency energy. This is the foundation of true transformation.

Nail Board Practice

Experience the transformative power of the Nail Board Practice. It is designed to help you take charge of the Monkey Mind, which is in constant flux. By rewiring unconscious responses to pain, it fosters stronger resilience and brings stillness to your inner being. This ancient technique empowers you to transcend mental turbulence and achieve a profound state of inner peace.

Conscious Eating & Fasting

A transformative practice to transcend survival instincts and connect with divine awareness

Conscious Eating & Fasting is a self-awareness tool within Mira Uniat’s methodology that invites students to approach food—and the absence of it—with complete presence and neutrality. This practice emphasizes mindful observation of your hunger, satiety, and emotional responses to eating. It is not about restriction but about transforming your relationship with food by transcending the instinctual drive to eat simply to alleviate hunger.

The goal is to savor each moment, whether your stomach is full or empty, and to cultivate a deep sense of peace and curiosity toward both states. By becoming a neutral observer, you learn to experience hunger not as discomfort but as an opportunity to elevate awareness and connect with a profound feeling of lightness and clarity.

This practice teaches that the state of an empty stomach can be just as rewarding and enriching as the experience of tasting food. When you approach eating with full presence and curiosity, it becomes an exploration of textures, flavors, and sensations rather than a reaction to the survival instinct.

Key Benefits of Conscious Eating & Fasting:

  • Transcends the instinct of survival to connect with higher awareness

  • Cultivates mindful presence during both eating and fasting

  • Enhances enjoyment and gratitude for the act of eating

  • Encourages a spiritual connection beyond animal nature

This practice is not mandatory and is recommended only for those with an awakened mind who are ready to explore the deeper dimensions of self-awareness and divine connection. For those who embrace it, Conscious Eating & Fasting becomes a powerful journey toward freedom from primal instincts and alignment with the intelligence of the divine.

Sound Healing

Sound healing uses the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. This technique involves using instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks to create soothing vibrations. These vibrations help to restore balance and harmony within the body, reduce stress, and promote deep relaxation and healing.

Breathwork

Breathwork is an awareness technique that involves controlled breathing exercises to enhance mental, emotional, and physical well-being. By focusing on your breath, you can reduce stress, increase mindfulness, and achieve a deeper connection with your inner self. This practice helps to balance the nervous system, release tension, and promote overall health and relaxation.

Blindfolded Awareness Practice with Mira Uniat

The Blindfolded Awareness Practice with Mira Uniat is a transformative journey that guides you deep within, allowing you to fully release control and trust Mira's guidance throughout the experience. With your eyes closed and external visual stimuli reduced, the brain is freed from processing incoming information, redirecting that energy toward accessing deeper layers of consciousness—the witness dimension. In this state, you become an observer of your inner world, gaining the ability to see and understand your deepest unconscious patterns. This practice is designed to help you connect with your authentic self and unveil the hidden aspects of your mind, leading to profound self-awareness and inner transformation.

Naked Presence

A transformative practice to transcend primal instincts and awaken divine consciousness.

Naked Presence is an advanced self-awareness practice created by Mira Uniat, offered exclusively to students who are ready to go beyond the automatic patterns of human nature and connect with their higher, divine self. This practice involves engaging in self-observation exercises while being completely naked - not as an act of physical exposure, but as a profound spiritual tool to strip away the mental layers of conditioning that drive unconscious behavior.

This practice is only assigned to Mira’s advanced students, those who have transcended the reactive sexual instinct and are ready to become neutral observers of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without acting on them.

The Purpose of Naked Presence

Naked Presence guides students to become conscious of the deepest natural codes within the human body - specifically, the primal sexual instinct - and transcend them by choosing awareness over reaction. The practice helps students recognize and observe instinctual patterns without judgment or attachment, creating a space for divine consciousness to emerge.

By consciously observing thoughts, emotions, and sensations without acting on them, students step beyond human programming and move into a dimension of pure awareness. This shift allows them to connect with their authentic, higher self, free from the limitations imposed by primal instincts and societal conditioning.

Similar to Fasting as a Spiritual Practice

Naked Presence is comparable to fasting, a well-known spiritual practice that involves abstaining from food while observing the natural pattern of hunger. Hunger arises automatically as part of the body’s programming, yet in fasting, a person consciously chooses to observe this sensation rather than act on it.

Similarly, in Naked Presence, the sexual instinct - which arises naturally as part of human programming - is observed without reaction. By consciously choosing awareness instead of action, students move into a higher dimension of consciousness, where they become aware of the patterns of nature without being controlled by them.

This practice leads to a profound realization: you are more than your instincts and programming. Naked Presence opens the door to understanding that your true self exists beyond automatic behaviors and impulses. It is a path to liberation from subconscious drives and a gateway to spiritual freedom.

Key Principles of Naked Presence
  • Neutral Observation: Students are guided to observe their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations - especially sexual impulses - from a place of detachment, without judgment or reaction.

  • No Sexual Activities: Naked Presence is a spiritual and self-awareness practice. Sexual activities are not permitted during this process. The focus is solely on self-observation and inner transformation.

  • Transcending Primal Codes: This practice helps students recognize deeply ingrained natural patterns and teaches them to rise above these instincts by bringing conscious awareness to them.

The Path to Consciousness

Naked Presence is a powerful tool for moving from unconscious behavior to conscious awareness. It teaches students to shift from being reactive to their instincts to becoming mindful, intentional beings. By mastering this practice, students access the dimension of divine consciousness, where they experience freedom from primal urges and reconnect with their highest self.

Ultimately, Naked Presence is a path to self-mastery and liberation. It helps students see that they are more than the existing programming of their bodies and minds. It invites them to step into their full power as conscious creators of their reality, embodying balance, freedom, and peace.

Note: Naked Presence is offered only to advanced students under Mira Uniat’s direct guidance. It requires a deep commitment to self-awareness, emotional maturity, and personal transformation.
